This work concluded that visual education for children with disabilities needs improvement. Researchers found that "matching" approaches were most beneficial and that other approaches that are popular may not have as great an effect. Adults in the life of a child with learning disabilities should be supportive. The paper stresses the importance of positive role models in the life of a child so that this boy or girl may develop self confidence and the ability to function in society. This paper evaluates the capabilities of service coordinators to truly help adults with disabilities through trauma. Keesler concluded that, while service coordinators aren't explicitly trained to help people through trauma, they may help those undergoing adversity. He raises the concern that trauma aid isn't a mandatory part of training. The authors of this piece concluded that Social Stories were effective in teaching kids who are disruptive in class how to better manage themselves during school time. Improved behavior is believe to be lasting and impacting. Kuper concluded that children with disabilities are at a great risk of not being able to achieve their academic potential. Along with other risks like illness, children are at risk of falling behind without the encouragement and work of adults to help them better fit in. Lingo found that when high school students tutored middle school students with disabilities through the Great Leaps Reading program, the middle school students found substantial improvements in reading fluency. Both groups of students found the experience rewarding and helpful. Marino concluded that classrooms closely following that Universal Design for Learning guidelines, including greater visual, video game like education, heightened student engagement. Nevertheless, students didn't show particular improvement after being tested. A survey showed alarming results about the preparation of children with disabilities for further education. First, a majority of students with disabilities did not receive services or have special educators to help them. This survey showed that teachers have confidence in students but lack resources. This study determined that people with physical disabilities in China face a plethora of issues. Yet, with greater assistance services, there is hope for improvement in the conditions of these people with disabilities. This study was pessimistic towards the current treatment of people with disabilities and pointed to their likelihood to find further illness. In this article, the writers work to simply debunk the idea that students with disabilities are a distraction in the classroom and bring down scores. These academics concluded that the presence of intellectually disabled students did not bring down the scores of other students in the classroom. |
